The HomeSteaders of Family HomeStead are proud to present the 2012 For the Love of Family Gala, hosted at The Ritz-Carlton in downtown Denver, Colorado. Beginning at 6:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, live music, plated dinner and live auction at this “down-to-earth cosmopolitan” hotel. HomeSteaders’ LoDo Loft Tour 2011 a success.

Season To Share grants $45,000 to Family HomeStead

Family HomeStead recently received $45,000 through Denver Post Season To Share, a McCormick Foundation Fund, to support our programs of emergency and transitional housing for homeless families. This year’s Season To Share campaign distributed a record-breaking $2,665,500 to 73 Denver-area nonprofit organizations. Since 1992, Season To Share has raised charitable donations that are matched and disbursed to local nonprofits serving persons in need: low-income children as well as those who are homeless, hungry or in need of medical care.
