Here is your chance to support Family HomeStead. Community First Foundation, a Denver-based foundation dedicated to increasing community generosity and involvement, and FirstBank, Colorado’s largest locally owned bank, have announced the third annual Colorado Gives Day. Starting at 12:00 a.m. on December 4, donations will be accepted for the next 24 hours through the online giving website GivingFirst.org.

Please join HomeSteaders and friends of Family HomeStead on Sunday, October 7, for high tea, finger sandwiches, scones, and a cappella entertainment. This fun and educational event helps provide much-needed housekeeping supplies to new families entering our Emergency Housing Program. There is no charge for the event but we ask each guest to bring a Cleaning Bucket filled with basic supplies (see full article for list).
