Families experiencing the crisis of homelessness often arrive at Family HomeStead with very little.

We accept donations of new or gently used furniture for our apartments, and often need basic household and personal supplies to stock our cupboards. If “Immediate Needs” are not listed, please email Judy Mugler (judy at familyhomestead dot org) or call (303) 623-6514 for a current list. Typical needs include:

Furniture:

• bed frames
• dressers
• dining tables and chairs
• sofas
• upholstered armchairs
• small tables
• lamps

Kitchen and bath:

• household cleaning supplies (mops, brooms, sponges, cleaning solution)
• pots and pans
• utensils
• dishware
• glassware
• bed linens
• bath towels
• kitchen towels
• rugs

Personal care:

• toothbrushes
• toothpaste
• bath soap
• shampoo and conditioner
• deodorant
• lotion
• toilet paper
• tissues
• diapers
• feminine hygiene products
• brushes
• combs
