Help kids get school started on the right foot!

Every year FHS partners with volunteers to provide backpacks, clothing and school supplies for the school age children in our Emergency and Transitional Housing programs. As our program continues to grow we will need even more assistance from the community to meet the needs of the children. 

Donors will receive the first initial of the first name of each child/ren along with the age, gender, grade entering, clothing sizes, and any favorite styles or colors. We ask donors to supply two NEW school outfits for each child including underwear, socks, shoes, and a lightweight jacket or sweater if needed.  No used or “general” clothing items, please. A backpack and school supplies for each child are also requested. We will provide a general list of school supplies and you can also find one here.
 
Spending guidelines for clothing are as follows: up to $100 for elementary children and up to $150 for anyone wearing adult sizes.  The cost of school supplies is extra.  For financial accountability reasons, we do not accept gift cards.

You can choose to adopt an entire family or one child. We can also accept monetary gifts to supplement the cost of the project
How many children would you like to support?
